Starting Your Own Website

We get a lot of requests for information about how to start your own blog and I would encourage anyone who likes to travel and has even a rudimentary understanding of computers and the internet to dive right in.  It’s fun and you’ll learn a lot along the way.  Designing and building your own website is something that you can do yourself with a little help from online tutorials or books.  The following is a list of decision points in roughly the order in which the steps should be taken.  We have indicated which providers we selected and the approximate cost.

The World Is Waiting

As you can see, for about $70 per year, you can have your own website and reach internet users all over the world.  With almost 7 billion people in the world and nearly one third of them now using the internet, you will be surprised at how many people there are out there who would like to hear what you have to say.  Once you’re up and running, be sure to let us know so we can link to your site.
